A sparkling couple of days heralding the Spring equinox in style at St Michael’s Mount

Freshly landed Nero di T***a, Puglia Rosso from the heel of Italy.

Medium bodied: cherries + berries; full of brisk acidity + youthful tannic vivacity.

Only 12% ABV - good for the head and beneficial for when the duty changes kick in next Feb.

Under 12.5% would have meant a decreased duty rate as the bands become more intricate in their incremental enforcement…..but Rachel and the fun police denied that as an opportunity by sticking the overall duty rate up as well. Cheers Rach! 🙄🍷

Also a pouch of skin contact white / orange from same producer. A lively blend of

Pampanuto - herbaceous notes
Bombino Bianco - citrusy + acidity
Moscato Reale - tropical
