South Side Studios x Culture Co:LB

Since 2023 this space has sat empty on the High Street while your neighbours and friends search high and low for affordable local space for their community groups and businesses.

In collaboration with the many arts, culture, heritage, health, and business groups that make up Culture Co:LB, South Side Studios will soon be the accessible, centrally-located, and collaborative arts and community hub that Leighton Buzzard needs.

This is a ‘meanwhile’ activation which means we will only have the space until they find a commercial tenant - it’s a chance to reclaim a massive empty space and connect with the community, and who knows where it could lead.

This is entirely people-driven and volunteer-run, with members of Leighton Buzzard Art Society, Buzz Cinema, Creative Buzz, Totally Leighton Buzzard, LB First, Linslade Mews, Waterborne Works, and many other organisations and individuals all joining forces to maximise this wonderful opportunity.

Climate Cafe is back this Sunday! How are you feeling about the climate crisis?

If you want a judgement free space to talk about any fears, anxieties, frustrations, or even hopes and joy. This is a welcoming space to do so. With trained facilitators and therapists available to work through complicated emotions.
