When Support Dogs met Forest Dogs at the Green shop.

We love dogs.

The Support dogs volunteers are here till 4pm today so pop down and say hi or tomorrow 9-12pm.

We will have the lovely volunteers from Hillsborough support dogs outside of the shop this week.

Here’s what they have to say:

Support Dogs has recently moved their national centre to Hillsborough.

The new building will have community spaces.

Meet our dog/s of the month for June. This time it’s a double act as we couldn’t pick one without the other.

Those eagle eyed amongst you will notice this isn’t a picture in the shop, as sisters Pixie and Peggy are far too busy doing their daily tasks in the shop to sit still for pictures.

Peggy has got to clean up around the pick n mix section and Pixie has to do a stock check of the kinder eggs.

In all honesty, if he had still been around their much more well behaved older brother Reggie would have been well up the list of shop dogs.

Here is our dog of the month for May.

Meet Luna, she is always so friendly and happy to see us all.

She is another one that can’t walk past the shop without coming in to say hi and that has been a lot over the years. 🐶

Don’t forget the two events happening this weekend in Wadsley.

There is an Easter quiz and bingo at the horse and jockey 4th April starting at 6pm. Followed by an 80’s disco.

On Sunday there is an Easter event at Wadsley house social club starting at 12.30, make sure you’ve got your tickets before they sell out.

Meet our dog of the month for April.

Guy, or as we like to affectionately call him, slobber chops.

He’s been visiting us for years and very much looks forward to his treat at the till.

So much so he has been known to nearly take our whole hand.

Wadsley Parish Church has an Easter trail planned for 28th March 10am-12pm.

Free drinks and cakes, everyone is welcome.

The Horse and Jockey have a Fun-Filled evening for all the family!😃
