It's Left Handers day today. If you're left handed we have loads of things in store for you. All of our chocolate, our beer, our wine is suitable for lefties. Why not treat yourself today!

Anyone available tomorrow evening to help tidy up the Churchyard of our beautiful 11th Century village church? It's mentioned in the Domesday book, real genuine history on our doorsteps.

There will be a community clean up evening at St. Helen's in Treeton tomorrow evening (Wednesday the 13th of August) from 6pm. This will be an opportunity to give the church and graveyard a much needed clean and tidy. If you live in the village or are part of the Rivers Team church family and could give an hour or two of your time to help with this it would be very much appreciated -
many hands make light work!

Free drinks and snacks will be served to all volunteers.

So much for the new Lottery terminal, guess what, it doesn't work. An engineer will be visiting at some point to fix it. Frustrating for us all. Please accept apologies from Allwyn who are the National Lottery supplier, for their incompetence.
