Just a quick look at works going through the factory through March - we are glad the worst of the winter months are behind us!

It has been a strange year so far with momentum hard to maintain, especially on the bespoke joinery. We have been excited by working with new clients and enquiries have been healthy but it seems to take a while now for projects to come to fruition.

We are starting to see some momentum on our high volume workstreams but bespoke projects are stop and start - it would be interesting to see how other businesses are finding it? It does seem projects stall during the design stage and value engineering phases.

Well after months of planning we have finally completed our machine moves and set up the extension to how we envisaged it 2 years ago.

This now will improve our efficiency in delivering projects to our clients and to increase throughput in the machine shop.

This has been a large investment for us with a new Homag Edgeteq S380 edge ba**er, new extraction system, additional air line works and electrical services to all the new locations which has taken meticulous planning. We have executed this while not impacting too much in our continued delivery of ongoing projects.

We can now look forward to 2025 and put the new setup through its paces!

Christmas came early today for JSF. Our new Homag S-380 edgeba**er was delivered 😊

We can’t wait to get this fully installed and commissioned in the new year.

We will also be rearranging the rest of our equipment over the festive period into the extension so come mid January we will be raring to go with lots more efficiency 💪

Today we have placed the order for our new Homag S-380 edgeba**er.

With fully automated setup and adjustments from a touch screen and faster track speed this will further increase our capacity and quality of edging on all of our edged products.

We can’t wait for it to be delivered and commissioned ready to start 2025.

This year seems to be racing away with itself!

September and October has continued to be busy, especially with the bespoke joinery side. We have also welcomed some new permanent members to the JSF Family!

Some photos shared of the items in production included a feature suspended canopy and lower counter - both having feature back illuminated lattice acrtlic panels which are going to look fantastic when installed!

Walnut seems to be the theme this month from clear lacquered to dark stained across various projects. Wall panels, waiter stations and curved back fittings in production so there is no time to rest as we ensure we meet with client deadlines!

It has been a while since our last update.

It has been a busy summer with large volumes of work leaving our premises. From large volume bespoke panelling to bespoke joinery for the commercial sector we haven’t had much spare time to share our work leaving our doors!

We are busy completing projects to the end of October but starting to look to fill our order books from November onwards. If you have any projects that you would like us to provide a quotation we would be happy to hear from you!

Our Homag 1230 edgeba**er will be upgraded towards the end of the year and subsequently will be going for sale. It’s a very clean machine and has not been run as a plant machine. It has spent 70% of its life since delivered new in March 2018 switched off and only used when needed.

Two weeks ago it had a full service and a complete rebuild of the glue pot by Homag.

It runs absolutely perfect and demos and training can be given to the new owner.

This is a machine with genuine history only being owned and set up by myself and never abused.

Panel thickness 8-60mm
Pre milling
Chamfer end trims
Corner rounding
Profile scrapers
Flat glue line scrapers
Buffing wheels

Edging thickness 0.4mm - 3mm coiled edging

Upto 6mm solid timber

It has been a busy few months at JSF Joinery Manufacturers Ltd.

We have some large volume projects going through the works alongside our bespoke projects that will keep us busy throughout the coming months.

We are thankful for the extra space and it has certainly aided in our increased capacity and the continued investment in machinery has streamlined our processes. Hopefully towards the end of this year we will relayout our existing machinery - we just need to find the right time!

Take a look at a new counter going through production and due to dispatch to our client on schedule.

Despite a tight turnaround we wanted to ensure quality was on point for our valued client.

This is a convenience store counter with a hi macs top, all built in modular form for ease of installation.

A quick update from the JSF team :-

We have had some excellent feedback recently from our new and existing clients about the quality of the work being delivered. We aim to manufacture and deliver bespoke or component work to the highest possible quality with budgets in mind. We also ensure we manufacture and mark up joinery to make installation as simple as possible when the items arrive on site.

With experience on the installation side we know how important this is to make the end process go smoothly.

Photos are a few examples of works going through the shopfloor recently as we continue to keep the team busy! .We are also seeing good volumes of enquiries and we hope to convert some of this to promote strong growth in 2024!
