WINE ON KEG!

To the tune of Girls on Film, we have decided to celebrate the summer sun with 20 litres of delicious, refreshing Orange wine on keg. Pouring now we have ‘Moscatel D’Alexandria’ by our friends at LaRuRaL in Santa Creus, Catalonia via Under the Bonnet Wines

An indigenous local grape to the area, it unfurls on the tastebuds with a rich tapestry of stonefruit, citrus and apricots. Really great for the sunny weather to have a couple of glasses with some cheese!

Last few photos are a trip to their vineyards and cellar in April, being able to taste the wine in tank and now pour it here is always a very exciting feeling!

Pouring now until it’s not, come try it!

CATALONIA TAKEOVER WITH Otros Vinos !

All the wines have arrived for our Catalan takeover this weekend as a little pre celebration for Soaked Wine Fair

We’ve got a sprawling range from the north of Barcelona, into the hills of El Penedès and down to coastal Tarragona. There’s a focus on toni carbó with 6 of his new releases pouring, a wonderful winemaker who grows a wide range of varieties but, his Xarel-lo which we have 3 different expressions of, are the real jewels in the crown!

There’ll be bocadillos, pinxtos plus more snacks, get your shorts on it’s going to be a hot hot hot one (maybe)

Lightning struck the bar and it created this wonder. Alongside the 4 cheese plate we have a special 6 cheese plate for the fromage lovers out there.

The 6 cheese plate consists of:

A lovely variety of soft cow, crumbly goats ,and hard sheep’s milk cheeses to dig in to.

A great day for a stroll around Heaton Park and a post walk refreshing drink!

Lots of new wines in the fridges, perfect for the warmer evenings or for a Dad who has a taste for adventurous Greek Pet-Nats or zippy Sylvaner from Alsace. Plus brand new summer drops from Titch Hill, Larural, Domaine Durrmann plus loads more House favourites!

Plus, we have the almost perfect summer beer pouring now - ‘Radbulb - Verdant’ is their flagship beer Lightbulb blended with lots of zesty lemonade. Forget Schof, this stuff is the real deal drink of the summer.

HOUSE X PELLA 🇬🇷🏛️🏺

To celebrate the glorious summer rays we’re delighted to be hosting PELLA at House on Sunday 28th June. Join us as we turn House into a bustling beachside tavern in Naxos, Paros, Samos or whichever is your favourite Island.

They will be serving some Greek plates with local produce focusing on seafood and vegetables. Think Dakos, Gouvetsi, Avgolemono, Spanakorizo and more.

Plus we’ll be pouring wines from some our favourite Greek producers such as Ktima Ligas, Sclavos, Kamara!
