It’s Regatta Day here in the heart of Cawsand Village, and the atmosphere is absolutely electric! 🎉 Flags flying, boats lined up, and crews buzzing with excitement — it’s shaping up to be another unforgettable day on the water! 🌞⚓️

We’ve got teams from all over coming together to celebrate tradition, competition, and community spirit in one of the most beautiful coastal spots in Cornwall. From the early morning row-outs to the final sprints, we know you’re all going to smash it today 💥.

Sending massive good luck vibes to every single rower hitting the water — race hard, race fair, and most of all… enjoy every minute of it! 🛶💪

Today at The Cove, we had the honour of meeting an incredibly inspiring man — Phil Brown.

Phil is walking the entire South West Coast Path — over 630 miles — in just 31 days, in memory of his beloved wife Anna, who tragically passed away from cancer earlier this year.

Despite the heartbreak he’s carrying, Phil’s humility, kindness, and quiet strength really moved us. It was a chance encounter, but one that left a lasting impression on Mark and Ellie who are pictured her with Phil outside the Cove in Cawsand.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely French couple today who popped in with their WayMaker South West Coast Path passport — and we proudly gave it the official Cove stamp! 🥾📖

They’re on Day 29 of their incredible journey, having started all the way back in Minehead — and still smiling! With The Salt Path now showing in cinemas, it’s amazing to see real-life walkers following in those inspiring footsteps.

Whether you’re taking on the full trail or just enjoying a slice of the coast, we’re here with warm welcomes, proper coffee, delicious pasties, and that all-important passport stamp.
