Platinum Cask (PC) is a new company registered in the UK. It has been setup by Louis Haseman from Fah Mai Holdings Inc. and his team. The idea of PC is to allow people to own and trade fractions of Scotch Whisky casks in affordable units.
Whisky is becoming a highly sought after commodity. Over the years Whisky has grown and grown and what started off as a every day gentleman’s tipple has now become something only the “super rich” can afford in meaningful quantities.
We have seen the likes of the “Platinum Whisky Fund from Hong Kong” open up with a minimum investment of USD250k. For the likes of you and me this is way out of our price range. I have come up with a concept that allows ordinary, every day people, with every day amounts of expendable income, to benefit from extraordinary returns.
As well as being your high end online Whisky shop PC is the worlds first cask trading site. This allows our clients to purchase fractions of casks that they would normally not be able to afford alone, or not want the hassle of maintaining.
We are providing a solution to a wide spread issue of liquidity and investing. The every day individual can not afford or does not have the confidence to invest in the stock market or open brokerage accounts. Most of the managed brokerage accounts I know of do not allow a minimum balance of less than USD10k.
Our solution is providing affordable units with consistent, competitive returns to those with under USD100.00 to invest. I’m going to name the “NANO” investments. Now, to the wealthy and upper middle class this might sound like a joke. But from where I come from this small stepping stone into the investment world might just be the correct sized bridge for the masses. Or that’s what I’m hoping.
I know that when I was growing up I thought of “having investments” as being far out of my reach. I thought that “people with investments” were only the wealthy, affluent, financially successful folk. Now everybody can be an investor and everyone can have investments, in something securely asset backed.
