Spring Wine Playlist: Sip, Chill & Vibe 🎶🍷🌸
Before my wine bug fully kicked in, I was stuck on the Chardonnay track— today Sauvy B has taken the crown for most (I’m secretly still nostalgic with my Chardonnay 💪). Discovering new bottles (even if you don’t love them all, is what this whole wine experience is all about 🌈
My Spring playlist includes:
🔥 Chilled Reds Remix – Forget the heavy, wintery reds—spring is all about light, juicy, slightly chilled sips. Beaujolais (especially a fresh, floral Fleurie or a fun, carbonic Gamay), new-wave Grenache (lighter, whole-cluster magic), Pinot Noir (bright, red-fruited, and silky), and Zweigelt (Austrian spice-meets-berry goodness). These are the ultimate “red wines, but make it spring” vibes.
💨 Crisp Whites on Repeat – Refreshing, zippy, and made for warm breezes. Grüner Veltliner (think citrus, white pepper, and that signature snap), Riesling (from bone-dry electric to a touch of off-dry magic), and Muscadet (especially the long-aged sur lie versions—textured, salty, and begging for oysters). These are the wines you sip while basking in that golden-hour glow.
✨ Patio & Park Party Anthems – Orange wine for a little funk and structure (the perfect convo starter), Pet Nat for those bubbly, carefree vibes (because let’s be honest, it’s basically adult spring break in a glass), and of course, a crisp Rosé to round things out. Think Provence-style for a fresh, delicate vibe or a darker, more textured gastronomic Rosé (Tavel? Bandol? Yes, please) for those charcuterie-and-cheese board moments when the sun sets but the night is just getting started.
🌙 Late-Night Slow Jams – That slightly darker, food-friendly Rosé I mentioned? Absolute game-changer for warm evenings. Add a little candlelight, a killer playlist, and the right company, and you’re set.
Spring sipping is about to be next level. What’s on your wine playlist? 🍷🎧✨
