Join us for a very special evening in Liverpool as we welcome highly respected Italian winemaker Emiliano Falsini .falsini for an intimate tasting event hosted by R&H Fine Wines and Queens Wine Bar & Bistro

Emiliano is widely regarded as one of Italy’s most thoughtful modern winemakers, best known for his work across Tuscany, including Chianti Classico and the coastal vineyards of Maremma. His wines are rooted in a deep respect for terroir, with minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar, allowing each site to express its character with clarity and precision.

In addition, we are delighted that Emiliano will also be showcasing wines from his vineyards on Mount Etna in Sicily — one of Italy’s most exciting and dynamic wine regions. Grown on dramatic volcanic slopes, these Etna wines are known for their striking minerality, freshness, and finesse, shaped by altitude, lava soils, and cooling mountain influences. They offer a completely different yet equally compelling expression of Emiliano’s philosophy.

Working with native grape varieties such as Sangiovese in Tuscany and Nerello Mascalese on Etna, Emiliano crafts wines that balance purity, elegance, and structure — expressive yet restrained, always with a strong sense of place.

On the night, Emiliano will personally guide guests through a tasting of his wines from both Tuscany and Etna, sharing stories from the vineyards, insight into volcanic viticulture, and the subtle decisions that shape each bottle.

Alongside the tasting, guests will enjoy snacks from the Queens Bistro kitchen. Tickets available on the website.

On Thursday 26th February we’ll be welcoming the wine maker from the renowned Monte Bernardi estate in Tuscany at Queens Bistro.

Michael will be walking us through their wines, we have space for 20 people to join.

It’s a real pleasure and privilege to have taken delivery of our first pallet of wine straight from .amaro and onto our shelves here in Liverpool.

Cas’Amaro are a family led winery devoted to celebrating native grapes and the country’s patchwork of terroirs, from the rolling hills of Lisboa to the granite slopes of the Dão and the red limestone soils of Alentejo.

R&H’s Big Anniversary Tasting

Thursday 20th November at the Pier head building with views over The Mersey and Liverpool’s waterfront.

13 years on Queen Avenue, 2 years on Allerton Road and for good measure its Beaujolais Nouveau day. Along with a handpicked bunch of our suppliers we’ll be pouring wine from across our entire range including this year’s freshly landed Beaujolais from Jean-Paul Brun and our own imports from Portugal and Argentina.

All in aid of Marie Curie Liverpool and The Greenhouse Project.
