Introducing CANIS MAJOR - the very first RED W**E from The Shiny Vine! 🌟🍷

Born from last year’s harvest, this STUNNING blend of Pinot Noir, Rondo and Divico marks a HUGE moment for us. ❤️

✨ BUT THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A W**E.

Canis Major is Latin for ‘Greater Dog’ a dog-shaped constellation, containing one of the brightest stars in the night sky. For thousands of years, its unmistakable light has guided farming civilisations through the highs and lows of agricultural life.

And now? The dog days are over. 🐾✨

Canis Major represents the struggle, the fury, the PASSION, the blood, sweat and tears that go into creating something bigger than yourself. It’s about finding your BRIGHTEST light in the darkest moments, following it wherever it leads, and having the courage to keep going.

Because sometimes, that guiding star is someone you LOVE. Sometimes, it’s a dream you refuse to give up on. And sometimes… it’s YOU. 🌟

🍇✨ HARVEST 2026 ✨🍇

A HUGE heartfelt thank you to every single one of our wonderful harvest volunteers who joined us on Saturday! ✨

We honestly couldn’t have done it without you! We picked, laughed, chatted and got the whole job done in record time! 🙌🍇

It was such a FUN day, and so lovely to see so many of you come together to help bring in this year’s harvest.

A big thank you to Simply Doughlicious for keeping our energy up with a DELICIOUS pizza lunch! 🍕 It was very much appreciated! The PERFECT way to refuel before getting back to the vines!

And of course, finishing the day with a well-earned glass of w**e (or few!) with our growing army made it even more special. 🥂

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who gave up their Saturday to be part of something so special to us. We’re incredibly grateful. 💚🍇

This week I’m pouring something a little special… Burnt House Pinot Précoce 🤩
Burnt House Vineyard

An English red from Burnt House Vineyard in Suffolk, Burnt House Précoce is a STUNNING earlier-ripening Pinot Noir. 🍇

And honestly… this one is SERIOUSLY worth discovering! ✨

Expect VIBRANT ripe red cherry, blackberry & plum, with delicate floral notes. Fruity, elegant and DELICIOUS .

🍽️ MY PERFECT PAIRING:
Sticky balsamic-glazed pork belly with roasted beetroot & charred vegetables 👌
The richness of the pork, earthy sweetness of the beetroot and those smoky, charred flavours = the dream match!

MY TIP: Serve it slightly chilled at 13–15°C absolute PERFECTION! 🍇

🍇 A 50% blend of Solaris, Ortega & Rinot, grown on Leicester Grange Estate on the Warwickshire & Leicestershire border, blended with 50% Bacchus.

Fresh, CRISP & easy drinking, with DELICIOUS notes of elderflower, orange blossom & fresh peach. 🍑✨

PERFECT for sunshine, slow afternoons and glasses that somehow keep getting topped up! 🥂☀️
