Hello to everyone
We’re excited to invite you to an upcoming event. Some of your young people will be voting for the first time and this is a good opportunity for them to hear what candidates have to say.
It's a community Q&A with local candidates focused on water quality and plastic pollution, in the run up to the Holyrood elections in May. It's a great opportunity to bring our community together and find out more about what our local candidates will do to reduce plastic pollution, improve water quality and protect our beautiful River Tay and other wild waters.
Date -Thursday 23rd April
Time - 7pm
Venue - YMCA, Brook Street, Broughty Ferry
The event is being run by Surfers Against Sewage, the charity which runs the Plastic Free Communities network, campaigning for healthy oceans and rivers across the UK.
The event is politically impartial, and questions can be submitted via the sign-up form.
Refreshments will be provided.
Tickets (free) can be found here;

We look forward to seeing you. Thank you for being part of Broughty Ferry's efforts to cut single-use plastic and protect our river and coastline.
We would be very grateful if you would share this email with any contacts or groups that you think might be interested in coming along. Thank you.
Kind regards,
The Plastic Free Broughty Ferry Team
