Not all fuel stations operate on a level playing field. We are working to reduce fuel prices as quickly as possible but the fastest way the UK government can enable that is to follow the lead of other Western governments and cut fuel duty. We are very grateful to all our lovely customers for continuing to visit us and show respect to our staff in these difficult times.

Our trip back to the 80s sparked some brilliant memories – and we loved seeing your own SPAR throwbacks appearing in the comments! 📸💚

As we celebrate 70 years of SPAR in the UK, it feels like the perfect time to share a few of them.

A huge thank you to Nick for sharing photos from his family’s incredible 44 years running SPAR stores in Durrington and Boscombe Down, to Nykki for this brilliant holiday snap outside a SPAR in Austria in the 80s, and to SPAR Ballingarry for sharing a fantastic throwback of their store.

70 years means a lot of memories – and we love hearing the stories behind them. 💚

Thanks to everyone who shared a little piece of SPAR history with us.

Huge fuel sales day today. Thank you to all our fabulous customers including lots of lovely new faces today! We have been taking on the big Green Giant ASDA in selling cheaper unleaded fuel than them and you responded in your hundreds. Much love everyone! Special shout out also to our forecourt team who have been superb dealing with all the extra traffic. Prices staying low for as long as we can while we navigate this period of higher fuel prices together. Blessings to all.

156.9ppl unleaded now lovelies! Cheapest around!

Some big savings right now on all fuel grades for our community against local competitors. Matching Asda and Sainsbury’s on unleaded! Please pop by and support the shop, every purchase whether it be a coffee or a sarnie really does help us keep our fuel prices flowing cheaper for longer. Hope to see you very soon! ⛽️

We understand price increases are tough on everyone right now. Please consider the information contained within the link below to provide the data behind the price rises and why this does not mean your local fuel retailer is making mega profits. Just because they look like BP or Shell doesn’t mean they are owned by them. A lot of these businesses use the brands like franchises. Us being one of them. We are working to reduce fuel prices as quickly as possible. The lower the prices the more we sell funnily enough. It is a price elastic product. By supporting the shop side of the business you can really help lower prices for longer, even buying a coffee or a chocolate bar can really help. Appreciate your support and understanding at this difficult time.
