When you hear that Zombie rocking slow..This is a luscious IPA drenched in Idaho 7, Simcoe, Nectaron and Citra.Sweet tropical fruit and gentle, fragrant pine. Delish!

The vineyards, situated in the southern reaches of Troyes achieve greater ripeness which leads to a richer fruit and classic baked biscuit flavours mixed with characteristic toasty yeast overtones. Only the first, lightest pressings are used, as is usual for fine Ch*****ne. Classic slow second fermentation in bottle followed by maturing on the lees for at least 18 months before being disgorged and released for sale.

Fresh floral aromas combine with characteristic sweet brioche overtones, balanced by peach skin and baked biscuit flavours with a crisp citrus finish.

Drinks very nicely well chilled on its own of course (but not on your own - this is the sociable drink par excellence after all!), but also recommended with light nibbles, salads and simple fish dishes.

Production:
An unique take on Pinot Noir from two growers' plantings in the sun drenched vineyards of the Southern Languedoc. Picked at optimum ripeness, balancing phenolics and acidity then cool vinified to enhance the fresh fruit flavours. No oak was used to keep this w**e as pure and sensual as possible.
Tasting notes:
Fuller than Pinot Noir from Burgundy, it has a warm, rich nose with aromas of black cherry compote. The palate is nicely balanced with an exciting, savoury streak provided by ripe, tasty tannins.
Food match:
Served slightly chilled, Le Fou is lovely with grilled lamb, cold meats, wild mushroom risotto or home-baked ham.

Lantic Rum is an expert blend of Caribbean and Jamaican rums distilled with full-flavoured, hyper-local Cornish botanicals. Gorse flowers, heather, and Cornish honey bring soft floral notes and natural sweetness.

Balancing these warm, golden botanicals, local sugar kelp adds a whisper of coastal minerality, evoking windswept shores with its clean salinity and gentle umami depth. Sweet clover introduces creamy, vanilla-like softness, while rosehips lift the profile with a bright, lightly tart, wild-berry acidity.

The result is a rum that’s vibrant yet smooth, maritime yet mellow - capturing the feeling of strolling through Cornish hedgerows by the sea.

Production
Marcel Seinsevin joined the w**ery in 1935. Daniel, his son, bought the then 4 hectare Château La Garenne in 1969. After buying more land and planting vines, the estate now extends over 18 hectares of argilo-calcaire soil and it is farmed in a sustainable manner, certified under the Agri Confiance scheme. The w**e is made in a traditional Bordeaux style, with each of the grape varieties fermented separately at 30°C in thermo-regulated, stainless steel tanks equipped with a micro-oxygenation system to soften the tannins.

Tasting notes
Dark berry fruit and earthy, to***co aromas mingle with a subtle minty, herbal element. Ripe, warm, plump fruit, with charcoal tannins that are rounded but evident, the structure doesn't overwhelm as all too often it can in Bordeaux.

Food match
A great pairing with bloomy-rind cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.

Our favourite IPA rides again; a recipe that’s been with us since our days cuckoo brewing & one we love to return to every year.There's some whole leaf Citra and a small liquid hop addition, in with a full charge of T90 & Cryo, for a ripe juicy aroma & a welcome hum of pine.

What can we expect from vintage 2026?
An early harvest. A story that’s becoming increasingly familiar.
Picking started at Château de Belleverne on 17th August, a full two weeks earlier than in 2025. It’s been yet another challenging vintage, with some areas of Beaujolais being hit particularly badly by hail. In La Chapelle-de-Guinchay, in northern Beaujolais, we were fortunate to fare better than others, although we still saw reduced yields following late-summer hail.
Thankfully, the harvest itself passed without any major drama, and the early signs are very promising. We're confident this will translate into all the freshness, personality and levity we expect from Beaujolais Nouveau.We still very much believe that Beaujolais Nouveau Day is like Christmas for the w**e world. A little glimpse of what the new vintage has in store. It brings a welcome bit of excitement and light as the evenings draw in and the chill in the air becomes impossible to ignore.
So, forget whatever weather is happening outside, draw the curtains, pop the heating on, get the stew out of the slow-cooker and pour yourself a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau on Thursday 19th November.
