📣 Big news from Greens of Banchory!💚

We’ve always believed in putting our community first, but now, we’re making sure everything we’ve always stood for is now louder, prouder, and clearer than ever. Say hello to our refreshed focus:

💚 Greens of Banchory - 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵.

What does it mean?

📍 Being 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 means more than just having a AB postcode. It’s about making sure our shelves are filled with brilliant local and Scottish favourites – like, Fisher & Donaldson, locally grown strawberries, Baba’s Sauce and many more.

It’s about getting to know you by name. We want you to know our Store Manager by name, and get to know the friendly faces serving you every day by name.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And we’re 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 because we 𝙖𝙧𝙚 Scottish. Our Scottish, family-owned business began in Markinch in 1982 with just one store. Now, supported by a friendly Head Office team in Fife, we’re still rooted in local values, and committed to backing brilliant local legends and causes.

💚 We’re also giving back where it counts. Through MADL (Making A Difference Locally), we’ve helped support a wide range of local community groups – including sports teams & school fundraisers and many more. When you shop with us, you’re helping us support the people and places that make this city special.

But we don’t stop there.

In recent years, we’ve been delivering dozens of impactful community initiatives — including Operation Christmas, where we raised £5000 for Fife Gingerbread’s Heat & Eat campaign. This project helped provide essentials to local families in need, especially during the winter crisis, when warmth and food were most urgently needed.

✨ So what’s next?

🍏 At Greens Retail, we’ve always been big supporters of the Healthy Living Programme, hosting Healthy Living Days and the Welby Club in-store and in local schools. We’re putting an even bigger focus on this going forward, and always on the lookout for more ways to support.

💚 We’re working on something special that helps us give back to those in need within the local community. A way to 'pay it forward’ and help make sure those in need don't go without.

Watch this space, and in the meantime, please let us know of any charities or community groups close to your heart, and we'll see what we can do to help.

Because this isn’t just a convenience store. It’s your local.
