Millions of v**es and pods are still being thrown away every week in the UK

Never bin v**es, pods or other electricals. Always recycle them separately from your household rubbish and recycling

When v**es and pods are binned, their hidden lithium batteries can be crushed in bin lorries and recycling centres, sparking dangerous ﬁres and wasting valuable materials.

The good news is v**es, pods and anything with a plug, battery or cable can be recycled!

Always recycle them separately from your household rubbish and recycling and take them back to the retailer. All shops that sell v**es and v**e pods are legally required to take back old ones for recycling, so it should be as easy to recycle them as it is to buy them

So remember - never bin your v**es or pods! When yours has reached the end of its life, recycle your v**e at your local retailer
