Bingo & Cream Tea raised a fantastic £470 which will be split equally between the Elmsett and Aldham Village Hall and Elmsett & Aldham Community Shop. Over 40 people enjoyed a cream tea and an afternoon of bingo with £240 given out in prizes.

A big thank you to Amy Hill, Pauline Scott, Jan King, Ginny Strike for their hard work on the day and especially Sue Cousins for baking all the delicious scones.

Good morning everyone, the shop is still accessible from Ipswich Road and manor Road,but not from hadleigh Road or whatfield road. I have spoken to the manager of the work being done and have been told that the shop will be accessible from one way, they will be digging up In front of the village hall entrance on Monday when the shop is closed due to the bank holiday! I will update as and when things change. Many thanks Amy

Asparagus, strawberries, British cucumbers and lots more in this morning, we have you covered! We also had a delivery from Suffolk Apiaries yesterday, so have all the flavours again, and we also have Elmsett honey in aswell 😊

Good morning everyone! We have strawberries, raspberry, blueberries and asparagus in and lots of goodies for you to enjoy.
Tonight the village hall has its AGM, I hope to see lots of people there, we have to remember without the village hall we wouldn’t have our little shop. They support us and allow us to serve the community.

Big thank you to everyone for coming to our quiz last night! We raised £182, also The Rose and Crown Elmsett for opening and allowing us to raise much needed funds, Robyn Annis for being the quiz writer? And Fiona Watt for being our quiz mistress. Next event is a joint fundraiser with the village hall Sunday 24th may Bingo and afternoon tea ,a list is in the shop and village hall . Thank you for your continued support. It means so much

Good morning, some good news for you this morning! We have local asparagus in and it’s came down in price £4 a bundle,as have the English strawberries, also new in today Cornish new potatoes, we have also had a delivery of Elmsett honey. Lots of other goodies to be had

A big thank you goes out too Elmsett Methodist Church for the very generous funds from there last coffee morning- £206.30. Thank you so much.
Also a big thanks goes too The Rose and Crown Elmsett for allowing us to host our bingo on Tuesday evening another £204.90 raised.
We can’t thank the support of everyone enough! You are all part of this journey! Community is key and we are so lucky to have a fantastic one !
