Please note that Cambrian Place in Aberystwyth will be closed to traffic from 28–30 August 2025 for the return of Aber Beer Fest!

We’re turning the street into a lively festival hub packed with:
🍕 Street food from incredible local vendors
🎶 Live music performances throughout the weekend
🍻 Festival atmosphere in the heart of town

This temporary road closure will help us create a safe, welcoming space for visitors to enjoy great food, great drinks, and great company – all just steps away from some of your favourite pubs and venues.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we celebrate Aberystwyth’s amazing independent scene!

We’re thrilled to welcome back Jonah's Fishmarket / Marchnad Bysgod Aberystwyth , a much-loved local gem in the heart of Aberystwyth, proudly run by Craig & Rhiannon Edwards for over 11 years. As an independent fishmonger, Jonah’s is known for its top-quality fish and shellfish, sourced from trusted suppliers across the UK — and from local Cardigan Bay waters whenever possible.

🍺✨ Welsh Folklore: The River of Beer ✨🍺

As the story goes, long ago in Wales, a young man discovered a magical handmill that could grant any wish. But when his brother wished for endless beer... the handmill overflowed! 🍻

A river of beer poured into Cardigan Bay, flooding the land and causing merry mayhem! Mermaids appeared, villagers danced, and the hills echoed with laughter – all thanks to a brew gone wild.
