Many people here at this time last year remarked on the procession of people leaving the shop with cases of Breezers 😁.

We've been selling them again this year of course, but as of yesterday it looks this month is going to be the same as last year.

Late in the afternoon yesterday I increased my order for the Breezers arriving today, thinking I may have ordered too many.

However these lads from Derry were in the shop before we even had time to open this morning buying 4 cases, so I think I may have guessed correctly 😁

Please note that the shop will be closed for one day only, this coming Sunday 29th June.

It is the first summer day in our 23 years here that we have closed the shop (including the Covid year)

If you're wondering why, Alex is away to Barcelona for a concert that day, he went away last month too on a Sunday, and I tried to keep the shop open and do the deliveries too.

Anyone who saw me that day/night will know why I've decided to close this time.

Back to normal from Monday.

The direct flights here from the USA has lead to very different requests in the shop this season, ranging from the very good Tequilas down to Hard Selzter.

Not knowing what a Hard Seltzer was we found this on Wikipedia

"Hard seltzer is a type of highball drink containing seltzer (carbonated water), alcohol, and often fruit flavorings.".

Well we now have in stock all the Hard Seltzers available here in Mallorca for our American friends and anybody else who wants to try them 😁.

Basically they are flavoured sparkling water with 4.5% alcohol content and as a bonus for some - gluten free

Alex and I are in the process of sampling them tonight 😁
