📢 Attention campers! 🏕️

This season at Sandbanks Provincial Park, you won't need to stop at the gatehouse for camping registration. You can head right into the park to start enjoying your visit!

Here's what you need to know about self check-in:

✅ Complete self check-in via the email reminder you receive on the day of your trip. You'll confirm your license plate and occupant information. When you arrive, proceed directly into the park!

✅ Carry a digital (saved to your device) or printed copy of your confirmation letter on you while in the park. This will be your permit.

✅ There’s no need to display a permit on your vehicle dashboard or campsite post. Your licence plate will be used to verify your permit.

But of course we are still here if you need us! Visit a gatehouse or the Main Office and park staff will be happy to help.

DAY USE: Daily vehicle permits for day use reservations must still be displayed on your dashboard. Reserve in advance and print at home to bypass the gate.

It looks like the gates swinging open for the 2026 season!

That's right, April 24th is the reopening of our beloved Sandbanks Provincial Park!

The place where memories are made, friends and families bond by the campfire, and nature surrounds you every step of the way.

Sandbanks is officially closed for the 2025 season and will reopen April 25, 2026!👋

Our main office will remain open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily throughout the winter months. If you have any questions, call 613-393-3319 to speak directly with a staff member. ☎️

⛺ Reservations for the 2026 camping season can be made five months in advance, either online at https://www.ontarioparks.ca/reservations or through the reservation line: 1-888-668-7275.

A big thank you to all of the staff who contributed to the another successful year, and to all of our visitors for learning, exploring, and loving Sandbanks the way we do! We can't wait to welcome you all back in 2026! 🥰🥹

Remember, fire safety is everybody's responsibility!
As a reminder:
🔥 Do not leave your campfires unattended.
🔥 Campfires are only permitted in designated fire pits.
🔥 Put out fires when you are not tending to them.
