Choosing fabrics for a window seat today! There are so many beautiful options it can be overwhelming! Typically I’m drawn to something neutral yet has texture that stays in “style” all year where you can add brighter/patterned/louder pillows
OR
because it’s a smaller item would you go nuts with colour/texture/pattern on the cushion right from the get go?!?!
I think both answers are right depending on the room and personal preference, but just love to hear others opinions!

Happy 1st day of Summer! This A D O R A B L E …sweet home with so much cuteness set in the heart of Renfrew was a recent project of mine! The yard was private but full of blooming lilacs and twinkle lights! Such a dream property for a young couple wanting to enjoy warm city nights!

Things are BUSY these days! Between running a very busy family, consults and vacant staging I have also taken on a design project on this beautiful ranch! When Staging I typically offer 2 different options…

1. Vacant Staging- Meaning the property is empty and I bring in inventory to highlight the features of the home so buyers can envision themselves living in the space. This usually includes a living room, dining space, kitchen, bathrooms and the primary bedroom, however additional rooms are completed upon request!

2. Occupied Staging- This option is for homes that still have people living in it but want to prepare it for sale.

Yesterdays project ended up being a combination of the 2. I previously did an occupied consultation and after the clients weighed their options they decided it was just easier to have me come back to transform the space. Rarely will I add my inventory to a furnished home, but sometimes I will make exceptions! I loved everything about this home and could see the potential it had so figured…, why not?!?
