The Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) has demanded the swift arrest of those involved in recent attacks, looting, and extortion against ISPs across the country. They warned that if the perpetrators are not arrested within seven days, support services to customers may be halted. The attacks, which targeted ISP offices in Dhanmondi and Chittagong, threaten the core of Bangladesh's digital infrastructure, essential for banking, education, health, government, and communication. A three-member gang, including two women, was caught in Ramu, Cox's Bazar, while attempting to smuggle yaba tablets using a car with a government Ministy's sticker. Authorities seized 6,000 yaba tablets, a vehicle, and four mobile phones. The operation was based on secret information, highlighting the alarming use of government stickers to facilitate drug trafficking. বগুড়ায় এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীদের আন্দোলনে অংশ নেওয়া ছাত্র সিফাত হোসেনের কারণেই তার বাবা ফারুক হোসেনসহ বিএনপির কয়েকজন নেতাকে দল থেকে বহিষ্কার করা হয়েছে। ফারুক হোসেন জানান, তার ছেলে ইসলামী ছাত্রশিবিরের সঙ্গে যুক্ত এবং আন্দোলনে অংশ নিয়েছে, এ কারণেই তাকে বহিষ্কার করা হয়েছে। তিনি এর বিরুদ্ধে তার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্রের অভিযোগ তুলেছেন।

শিক্ষার্থীরা উত্তরায় শিক্ষামন্ত্রীর পদত্যাগের দাবি জানিয়ে সড়ক অবরোধ চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে, যাতে ঢাকামুখী যান চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। আন্দোলনকারীরা তাদের তিন দফা দাবি মানা না হলে আন্দোলন চালিয়ে যাওয়ার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে। এই দাবিগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে বন্যা ও জলাবদ্ধতার কারণে অপেক্ষাকৃত সব পরীক্ষা স্থগিত রাখা, পুনঃপরীক্ষার ব্যবস্থা করা ও শিক্ষামন্ত্রীর পদত্যাগ। শিক্ষামন্ত্রী আগের দিন পরীক্ষায় বৃষ্টি ও বন্যার কারণে কিছু পরীক্ষার পুনরায় আয়োজনের ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন ও শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশোনায় ফিরে যাওয়ার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন।
