The festival was organised to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The people of Munich were invited to join the festivities, which included horse races. The celebration was such a success that it became an annual tradition!

This is how I solved my shortage of table lamps while also giving an empty bottle a whole new purpose!

But honestly, this bottle means a little more to me because it was a special gift, so throwing it away just didn’t feel right. ❤️

Now it’s part of my home, carrying a memory AND lighting up the room.

Absinthe, also known as The Green Fairy 🌿🍸, originated in Switzerland in the 1700s as a herbal medicinal drink. Made with wormwood, anise, and fennel, it became popular in French café culture before being banned due to myths. Today it’s legal, regulated, and full of fascinating history.
