3020 community, a quick update from us at Speedway Sunshine.
There’s been a lot of talk lately around fuel prices, so we wanted to give you a clear picture of what’s actually happening.
Right now, fuel pricing across Australia is being driven by global supply and the current Iran/US conflict, wholesale costs, and new government pricing systems that have recently been introduced. These changes are still bedding in, and like any new system, there are occasional inconsistencies while everything syncs properly.
As an independent site, we don’t have the same control or buying power as the major chains. We don’t set the market, we operate within it.
What we do focus on is:
• Keeping fuel available when others run dry
• Pricing as fairly and competitively as possible based on cost
• Running a site the local community can rely on
Most people don’t see the behind-the-scenes: deliveries, supply pressures, system changes, but they all play a role in what you see at the pump.
We know it’s frustrating. We feel it too.
But our commitment hasn’t changed: we’re here to serve 3020 properly, just like we always have.
