Pemberton General Store As a family we moved from Perth to Pemberton in early 2010 and purchased the Pemberton General Store at 52 Brockman Street almost a year later.

In the small town of Pemberton we have an awesome range of items to meet your needs including but not exclusively - drinks, snacks, take-away coffee, hardware and tools, plumbing, fishing and camping, gardening, clothing/boots and so much more......... The store at that time stocked a small selection of groceries, drinks, snacks, DVD hire, giftware, fishing gear and gumboots. Our first addition wa

s a coffee machine which from the start led to us delivering the best takeaway coffee in Pemberton as we are often told! The second add on was taking over the stock from the local hardware store which was closing its doors. Since then, we have continued to add on items that locals and visitors alike require. This however soon meant our store was no longer able to adequately display all our stock. The next step seemed obvious, start planning a purpose-built store. The first step was to purchase the perfect location at 66 Brockman Street. Due to building timeframes blowing out we had to temporarily move to the old Millhouse Café building. This momentous move took 28 days with about half of our stock being stored at our home address. By all accounts it was much quieter at the other end of town, which made us confident in our choice of location for the new shop. Our final move to the new shop saw us opening our doors for trading on Wednesday 7th August 2019. As with most new builds we had some initial teething problems, but we have always and continue to provide excellent service, awesome selection, local experience and willingness to source items where possible. We continue to add to our business and have since December 2019 offered Mountain Bike Hire and in the past year Stand Up Paddle Board hire. With two new websites you can also find out everything you need to know about our ‘little business’. Just letting the community know that we will not be closing the Pemberton General Store at the end of the month as we accepted an offer on Friday with settlement to occur sometime in August.

We purchased this business in 2011 and have built it up to be a mainstay for both locals and visitors alike. We are now ready for our next adventure and the business is ready for the next couple, family or partners to walk in start making money and bring some new energy.

As previously indicated if not sold this financial year we will be closing down the Pemberton General Store and looking at other options for the building and site.
