Micros on The Murray – A New Chapter for POWRi Australia
The Bend Motorsport Park | Supercars Weekend | September 12-14
POWRi Racing Australia is proud to confirm something that’s been in the works for months, a brand new showcase event known as ‘Micros on The Murray’, set to run adjacent to The Bend 500 at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, South Australia.
Dragway at The Bend & it's new ‘Live Action Arena’ brings POWRi’s unique brand of small car speedway right in the heart of one of the country’s biggest motorsport weekends.
Micros on The Murray is something entirely original, an event created to give grassroots Microsprint, Outlaw Kart, and a core group of hand picked AIDKA Kart competitors the opportunity to race on a big stage.
This is not a support act, rather it’s a headline moment for small car speedway.
The Live Action Arena will be sanctioned by the Australian Autosport Alliance (AASA), and everything about it from the layout to the location is designed to showcase the talent, intensity, and future of POWRi racing at its new South Australian home.
We’re working hard behind the scenes to finalise the format, schedule, and infrastructure.
Nominations for this special event will open soon, and when they do, we expect interest from all corners of the country.
