So… if something’s ahead of its time, and has been sitting on the shelf for a few years, does that mean it’s now up to date? 🍷

With fresh red berry notes and a delicate finish, this was the only vintage where we made our Pinot unfiltered — keeping all that natural goodness in the bottle.
A smart move?

At the time, raw and unfiltered w**e was only just starting to get seriously talked about. I thought I was well ahead of the curve, imagining myself standing on the podiums of domestic and international w**e shows, enthusiastically explaining how the best thing you can do is simply let natural processes happen…Blah, blah.

Maybe I was just ahead of the pack or well behind the curve- I’ll never know.

What I do know is that we’ve still got some of this 2019 Unfiltered Pinot tucked away, and I’d love to get it out into the world before the future gets locked away in a cellar again.

After many years on the farm and in the vineyard, I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know that I will be closing down the w**e business over the next 5–6 weeks. Having now sold the vineyard, I feel that it is the right time to move on and focus my energy on some new ventures and opportunities.

It has been an incredibly rewarding process, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the lifestyle that came with life on the farm. Maintaining an organic approach and being so closely connected to the land, the vineyard and the w**emaking process has been a very special experience, and one that I will always look back on fondly.

Before we close the business, I still have a decent amount of 2019 Pinot Noir, including both Wh***ey Jim Hill Pinot Noir and Bye’s Pinot Noir also some others.
If you have been enjoying the w**es or would like to stock up before we finish, now is a great opportunity to do so.
