Brrrr ❄️🥶 we thought it was extra cold today 🫠

Much of eastern Australia had their coldest morning of the year so far.

Minimums dropped to well below 0°C across large parts of inland New South Wales and Victoria, and close to 0°C through inland southern Queensland. Widespread frost was observed.

Sydney and Brisbane fell to 8.3°C and 11.3°C respectively, and it was even colder through the outer suburbs.

Temperatures will climb quickly on Thursday with mostly sunny skies forecast along the east coast. However, cool southerly winds will bring the 'feels-like' temperature down. It will be another cold night tonight, and frost is again expected for eastern inland areas.
