Branxton IGA – Casual Deli Assistant
We are growing! Branxton IGA is looking for a Casual Deli Assistant to join our team.
Are you enthusiastic, friendly, keen to work and learn as you go? Do you love working with food and people? We’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, slice, and serve deli products with care and attention to hygiene
• Assist customers with friendly and helpful service
• Maintain a clean and organized deli area
• Ensure products are properly displayed and well stocked
Skills & Attributes:
• Previous deli or food-handling experience desirable but not essential
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Food safety certification (or willing to obtain) and hygiene awareness
We Offer:
• Casual hours starting at 10–20 hours per week, with opportunity to increase
• **Mainly afternoon shifts with some weekend work required. Must be available weekends. **
• Friendly and supportive team environment
• Opportunity to develop skills in a busy retail setting
